Stampin' Up! Textures and Patterns

Welcome to the Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop. You are currently visiting Elaine Johnson from Waterlily Papercraft from Australia.  Theme for February: Take Inspiration.  I took my inspiration from the water colour look and pastel shades of the Ink & Inspiration logo.  I used textures and patterns to bring this card together.

For the base of the card I used a card from my Memories and More Card Stock which had a great sentiment in the centre. I used the Brusho Colour Crystals on Shimmer paper and spritzed with water which gave me the water colour look and blend of colours.  To get the texture for the card I used Embossing Paste and the Pattern Party Decorative Stencil.  I used the large circle framelit on the shimmer paper.  I divided the circle to sit in different angles on the card.  I then used the Enamel Shapes to flow across the card.  I loved how it turned out and I thank you for visiting my blog today.

Stampin' Up! Just Breathe with Brusho Crystals

My favourite pastime is water colouring so I am just loving the Stampin' Up! Brusho Crystals.  Each background comes out completely different so no two cards are the same.

I used Shimmer Paper instead of Watercolour Paper as it gives this lovely shimmer to the colour when it dries, but unfortunately you cannot see this on the photo.
